Magical and magnificent
FACE A FACE is part of Design Eyewear Group creating and marketing iconic eyewear brands sold worldwide by quality opticians for more than 40 years. Design is the heart of the company and great design is what defines all its brands. They are versitile and clearly positioned; from audacious French design to a clean-cut Scandinavian look. Far from standardized fashion dictates and conformist trends, FACE A FACE is envisioned within the Parisian design studio by createur Pascal Jaulent and his design team.
Each FACE A FACE concept explores shapes, textures, materials and colours in expressive ways turning the frames into small pieces of art. The alluring colour palettes of Gauguin and Matisse have enhanced the hearts of the creative design team and bring to the designs of FACE A FACE a playful range of breathtaking green accents, magical blues and lavish reds, which are passionate and lush, like tropical forests.

Like a beautifully designed typography or calligraphy, the lines of the frame vary in thickness and lightness creating an extraordinary silhouette and underlining the symmetry of the design.

"To enhance the vibrant impression, we play with volumes when sculpting the brow and boldly framing the eye. The lines become thicker and the acetate cut in prisms, points and layers create surprising new interpretations and effects", says Pascal Jaulent, createur at FACE A FACE.
The trend of audacious `frames´seems to echo from one shape to the other and from one concept to the next. An echo created by repetition, by transparencies or by usage of colours.

These shapes of the BOCCA WALK plays with a golden bridge to give an exclusive highlight to a modern feminine expression. The colours are key to this concept, where matte finishes and transparencies create an alluring look.
SACHA 1+2
SACHA 1+2
Inspired by the key trends in the FACE A FACE sun collection, the new SACHA 1+2 create a frame in frame effect by playfully combining transparent and solid patterns in acetate. The design has very feminine, soft cat eyes and slightly pointed details, sculpting the brow.
BOCCA GINA 1+2
Reinventing the passion for the spirit of the 50s and 60s, BOCCA GINA is shaped as a tribute to the Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida, who reigned as the most beautiful diva of her time. Expressing femininity in every detail, BOCCA GINA is the diva of frames. The shapes are pointed and the colouration delicate, with the BOCCA signature of a pretty ballerina at the tip of the temple. Truly inspired by the 1960s Italy!
